Sylwia obtained her bachelor’s degree (2015) and master’s degree (2017) from the Faculty of Chemistry of the Adam Mickiewicz University (UAM) in Poznań, Poland. During the last year of her master's studies, she became interested in the synthesis and spectroscopic characterization of triphenylmethane (trityl) derivatives and continued this subject during her doctoral’s studies at UAM under the supervision of Professor Marcin Kwit. In January 2023, she was awarded a doctoral’s degree for the thesis entitled “Selected applications of trityl group”. Furthermore, Sylwia gained industry experience by working in FutureSynthesis (2021-2022) and PCC ADOB (2023) in Poznań. On the 1st of April 2023, she started her postdoctoral fellowship under the supervision of Dr. Łukasz Woźniak at Jagiellonian University, Kraków.
Pravin received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Chemistry from University of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. In 2015, he completed his MTech (Chemistry) from IIT Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India and in early 2016, joined the research group of Dr. Manmohan Kapur at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal, India, and completed his PhD in 2021, in the area of transition metal mediated C–H functionalization in N-heterocycle synthesis. Thereafter, in March, 2022, Pravin join the research group of Prof. Chandra M. R. Volla at IIT Bombay, for his Postdoctoral studies, where he worked in allene chemistry. On the 1st of September 2023, Pravin started his postdoctoral fellowship under the supervision of Dr. Łukasz Woźniak at Jagiellonian University, Kraków.
Rajat obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Ramjas College, Delhi University, India, 2019. Then he came to IIT Ropar for his Master’s degree and joined the IC research group under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Indranil Chatterjee in August 2020 to fulfil his M.Sc. project at the Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar, India, where he worked on Photoredox Catalysis. After completing his master thesis, he joined a Research and Development Department at VIVA Active Pharmaceutical Pvt. Ltd. where he worked as a chemist for one year. Since December 2022, he is a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Dr. Łukasz Woźniak at Jagiellonian University, Krakow.
Anna obtained her Master’s degree (2013) from the Faculty of Chemistry of Kazan Federal University (Russia). Her research was dedicated to the selective functionalization of calixarenes. Afterwards, she worked as a researcher in oilfield chemistry at ChampionX company for 6 years. In 2021, she moved to Krakow and worked as a synthetic organic chemist at CRO Selvita for 2 years. Her tasks included stereoselective synthesis of small molecules – drug candidates library for screening purposes. Since October 2023, she has been a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Dr. Łukasz Woźniak at Jagiellonian University, Krakow.
Taras obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine in 2022. In his Bachelor, he was interested in synthesis of Pyrazol phosphine oxide moiety which can be further used for clinic research purpose under the supervision of Dr. Evgeniy Y. Slobodyanyuk and in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Oleksandr O. Grygorenko. Simultaneously, Taras gained industry experience by working in Enamine Ltd. (2019-2022). From last year, he started his Master’s degree at Jagiellonian University, Kraków in Faculty of Chemistry, majorly in Bioorganic chemistry. Currently, from this year he has started his Master’s thesis under the guidance of Dr. Łukasz Woźniak.
